School Holiday Workshops

CHALK Holiday Workshops are designed with a focus on literacy, creative writing & language skill building at home with a big serve of holiday fun that develops creativity & curiosity.

Each workshop includes 1-2 texts read aloud, a chance to make using craft items or create using photography, dance or drama, time to play and explore using music, movement & magic to get bodies moving & developing skills as we go.

Price includes planning, preparation, materials & equipment for 1 child.

$180 inc. GST per hour

  • each additional child $30 per hour (up to 4 children)

  • travel time charged separately

  • a parent must be at home at all times

Books Alive Parties

Whether your party is inspired by a book or you are looking for party activities, we have something fun for you.

Popular activities include:

  • story-telling

  • craft activities

  • dancing

  • creating a photo board

  • making something beautiful and memorable for the birthday person

Terms and conditions

 

  • If you are unwell, experiencing flu-like symptoms, awaiting results of a Covid-19 test or have been asked to isolate, please do not attend workshops.

  • Enrolment is on a term by term rather than a weekly basis. Where you and/or your child are unable to attend please contact The CHALK Crew. Refunds for individual sessions are not usually given. In extraneous circumstances, should an agreement be reached, refunds will be provided on a pro-rata basis.

  • Food will not be provided at CHALK workshops. However, should you wish to bring snacks for your child, please ensure they comply with safe food guidelines as per childcare centres and primary schools (no nuts, no eggs etc). The CHALK Crew cannot accept responsibility for food brought to workshops by other parents / carers.

  • Should your child be attending a workshop with a different adult from the registered adult on your enrolment form, please contact The CHALK Crew in advance.

  • We request information about medical conditions and allergies that may effect your child’s or your participation in activities we offer. We provide an inclusive program and our goal is to plan for full participation where possible. Please keep The CHALK Crew informed of any changes.

Privacy Policy

  • This is the only information we collect at The CHALK Crew.

  • Your information will only be used for the purposes of administration for The CHALK Crew. For example, we will send you your invoice using your email address and contact you by email or phone should there be any need.

  • Your personal details will be stored using a third party storage provider according to the Australian Privacy Principle and disposed of after 3 years if no longer required. All efforts will be made for the safeguarding of the information you provide to The CHALK Crew.

  • Your personal details will not be sold to other companies.
